Things to know

Parking
If you have a boat, trailer, or RV, you may park it in your driveway for no more than 7 days out of 30. Otherwise, either put it in your garage or else rent space at one of the parking lots intended for that purpose.

Section 12 of the covenants indicates that vehicles should not be left parked on the street. Please park the vehicles in the garage or driveway.

The Covenants forbid parking vehicles larger than 1/2 ton in The Meadows. Since 3/4 ton pickup trucks are the same size as 1/2 ton trucks, the board chose not to enforce the ban on parking 3/4 ton pickups at its June 27, 2018 meeting.

Speed Limit
Please obey the posted speed limits, for the safety of all.

Yard Waste Pickup

Yard waste should be bagged and left on the street by the curb. Please don't put it near storm drains! Pickup is on Monday or Tuesday

Yard appearance
Please help us keep our neighborhood one that we all can be proud, by keeping your yards mowed and flowerbeds weeded.

Garbage Cans
Please keep garbage cans from being visible from the street

Covenant Violations
Effective June 1, 2017, the Board requires that all member complaints about Covenants violations be submitted in writing, either by email or letter.
Article VII of the by-laws, recorded in March of 2020, indicate the steps taken to resolve violations and to protect homeowner values.

Political Signs
The issue of political signs came up at an Annual Meeting, several years back, with most residents opposed to them, but a few spoke in favor of exercising their right to "free speech." Except for "For Sale" signs, the Covenants prohibit the display of signs on any lot in The Meadows. The By-Laws calls for a $10/day fine to be imposed in the event Covenants rules are violated.
The HOA Board discussed the issue at its April 5, 2017 meeting, and voted to resume enforcement of the ban on signs.
